With more than 15 years of experience in research, teaching, and international collaboration, he specializes in robotics, autonomous guided vehicles (AGVs), multi-robot coordination, and sensor-based control systems. His work extends to applications in food delivery, elderly care, bio-inspired robotics, and the integration of AGVs as electric vehicles (EVs). In addition, Dr. Moshayedi has a strong focus on robotic systems for agriculture, particularly in the design and control of autonomous robots for precision agriculture. His research addresses challenges such as automated crop monitoring, robotic harvesting, soil and plant health analysis, and optimized resource management, leveraging sensors, vision systems, and AI-driven control algorithms to enhance productivity and sustainability. Dr. Moshayedi is a Senior Member of IEEE, a Professional Member of ACM and CCF, and a Life Member of the Instrument Society of India. He has authored more than 100 peer-reviewed research papers, contributed to four book chapters, and holds two patents and sixteen copyrights. His publications include three books: Arduino Programming (adopted as a coursebook in Iranian universities), Odor Localization System Design for Gas Leakage Detection (2019), and Unity in Embedded System Design and Robotics: A Step-by-Step Guide (CRC Press, 2022), which is recognized as one of the pioneering works linking embedded systems and virtual reality in robotics. In addition to his research contributions, Dr. Moshayedi is an active keynote speaker and mentor, known for fostering cross-sector collaboration in robotics and automation. His current work emphasizes simulation-driven design, path tracking, and real-world testing of AGVs and agricultural robots, providing innovative solutions for modern industry, smart manufacturing, and precision farming.
